Kindergarten created these fun turkeys by directed drawing. Then they added different types of lines to their turkey feathers, and outlined using oil pastels. Finally, they painted the entire paper using tempera paints. They did a great job!
These colorful turkeys were made by our first graders, using coffee filters, markers, and water to create a beautiful tie-dye effect. The colors are even brighter in person!
3rd grade painted these adorable color wheel turkeys using only red, yellow, and blue tempera paints.
3rd grade studied the artwork of Jose Posada and learned about the Day of the Dead in Mexico. They created these beautiful skulls using symmetrical and asymmetrical elements in their design process. They colored their work with sharpie and added some glitter!
Kindergarten created these silly pumpkins using tempera paint and cut paper. We learned how to make orange by mixing red and yellow!
